Radio Kasoot is world’s first Haryanvi radio station, started by a bunch of haryanvis out of pure love for their culture. It is a not-for-profit community channel run by contributing members across the globe.
We felt it is a great initiative and wanted to contribute to this lovely effort in our own way. We thought it would be best to contribute by offering to redesign the brand identity of this amazing radio station.
Most importantly it deserves to be branded as a global product, since it is run by haryanvis living across the globe.
The brief was simple. Use the idea present in the current brand logo and improve it based on what it means to us. We thought the logo has to represent what the brand does – which is broadcast haryanvi content to the community & what it stands for – which is haryanvi culture and roots.
Based on this understanding we created some symbols. Out of these one was shortlisted and we created complete identity using that. It was also used to update the ui for the app and microsite.
Since this is a content based brand we also created logo reveal using the new logo.
